That being said... I am looking forward to my next adventure.
In September I submitted my application for to become a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Morocco. In that same nature, I also enrolled in Arabic language classes. We are only learning the alphabet and a small amount of vocabulary, but it has been exhilarating! A heroine addict would equate my use of Arabic to their use of Methadone. It quenches my thirst for languages and other cultures.. for now.
I also am applying to a Global Communications program at the American University in Paris. A combination of each flavor of my personality: cultural studies, mass media communications, business, and a dash of art. Not to mention, I would get to live with a host family in their Parisian home, learning French and thickening my skin to the inevitable Parisian disgust of my horrendous American accent.
And there are several other back up programs I will be applying to, but for now I am just waiting to see where the wind carries me.
